BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Contact our Secretary, Antoinette, at +264 81 322 3360 or [email protected] prior to arrival at the Yacht Club. With limited swing mooring space, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that you will need your own dinghy for landing, as there is no water taxi service. Visiting Yachts much use the Walvis Bay Yacht Club pier for all landings, as the Waterfront Jetty is reserved for commercial tourists. While there is no direct access to the Yacht Club jetty due to a significant sandbank, we are happy to assist all arrivals to and from your boat with prior arrangements.
ARRIVAL AT WBYC
Upon arrival, please check in with the Club Secretary, Antoinette, at the office to complete all necessary arrival forms. Sailors can enjoy the convenience of hot showers, ablution facilities, trash disposal, and laundry services. Find a fresh water tap at the end of the Jetty for filling up. Securely tie up with your own dinghy at our Jetty and should you require repairs, kindly reach out for repair support from our experienced members. This incurs a blanket cost based on the crew size (children under 12 free of charge). Once anchored, you are under the Yacht Club's responsibility and must report to the Club. Walvis Bay Yacht Club provides the availability of our high-quality Membership card for a 10% discount at the bar, restaurant, braai facilities, and WiFi access. Additionally, receive travel assistance for Customs and Immigration clearance. Kindly note that for arrivals after 16:00, weekends, or public holidays, MUST report to the Office on the first working day after arrival.

DEPARTURE
Before departure, kindly inform the office of your planned departure date to facilitate the timely completion of your Clearance form. This is necessary before proceeding with Customs and Immigration clearance.
YACHT CLUB PROTOCOLS
While on-site fuel is unavailable, arrangements for refuelling can be made through Namport. Kindly provide advance notice for substantial fuel quantities.
